When viewing institutional hierarchy you can see how institutions are related to one another
These solid bars indicate a direct relationship between that institution and its parents or subsidiaries.
The first level is always blue, then different colours are used further down the hierarchy. Identify Online displays up-to four levels at a time.
The broken lines indicate a shared subsidiary and clicking on the show hierarchy button to the left of the organization will show all parent institutions.
Hover over an organization to see its parent institution.
Where a shared subsidiary is indicated click the show hierarchy button to see the relationship in detail.
In this example, Follet Higher Education Group AND University of California Berkeley are parents of the Student Store.
